[intrepid]Can't export in Writer (it hangs)

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

When selecting File/Export, Oo hangs, even freezing my whole system.
I can't even use Ctrl+Esc.

( I can run a terminal though, and kill the soffice process from there.)

Which version of openoffice.org are you using (the exact package version)? Also are you running on Gnome or KDE?

It's 3.0.1 (Build 9376), and I'm using KDE, upgraded from Hardy to Intrepid without reinstalling.

As a note (I've seen this as a solution in some similar issues: I have tried both openjdk's and sun's JRE, but it didn't help.

I would also note that opening the save dialog using Save or Save As in any OO application results in a lock up.
If I try it from Calc or Draw, it only freezes that application, not the whole system.

3.0.1 isn't the exact package version, it is something like 1:3.0.1~blah. There have been many uploads some of which might cause the problem you are seeing so the exact version is needed to determine what the cause is.

Does setting "Tools->Options->OpenOffice.org->General->Use OpenOffice.org dialogs" help resolve this issue? If so then it will probably be fixed with the next upload which should be next week.
