openoffice.org-kde freezes OpenOffice 3 during PDF export

Hi,

I've upgraded to the latest Openoffice3 version for intrepid (from this source: deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/openoffice-pkgs/ubuntu intrepid main)

The version used is :
ii openoffice.org 1:3.0.1~rc1-2ubuntu2~intrepid1
ii openoffice.org-kde 1:3.0.1~rc1-2ubuntu2~intrepid1

OpenOffice keeps crashing when I try to export a document to a PDF. This happens whatever it is a presentation or a text report.

However that functionality works again if I remove the openoffice.org-kde package.

I'm using Kubuntu 8.10 with KDE 4.1.3 for AMD 64 bits system.

Does the crashing stop if you go do:

Tools->Options->OpenOffice.org->General->Use OpenOffice.org dialogs

If so this bug will probably be fixed next week.

When I check this option, I can now export my documents in PDF.
