Binary package hint: openoffice.org

the dialog that appears when you use File>Assistants (wizards?)>Document converter (batch conversion?) is too small and cannot be used at all. It is impossible for the user to resize or maximize it.

The same bug occurs when I try to use the document converter as well.

Does this only happen if you compiz enabled eg (System->Preferences->Appearance->Visual Effects) set to something other than None. If set to None does the bug go away? I think this is probably a bug exposed by compiz, but isn't actually a bug in compiz itself.

This seems to be the case, when I disable special effects in compiz, the dialog window sizes itself correctly again.

I can confirm this. Setting desktop effects to none allowed a work-around.
