the Ubuntu splash screen dont work, the OO guys change the image format
/usr/lib/openoffice/program/openintro_ubuntu.bmp: Just 24 bpp bitmaps are supported.

TEST CASE:
If you can run openoffice from a terminal window and it doesn't complain about the bitmap format being unsupported and the splash shows up as orange instead of blue then the bug is corrected. (The blue splash screen is the default upstream splash, *buntu uses an orange one) |
