Bug Description
When installing the OpenCards 0.9 (www.opencards.
This problem doesn't occur under Suse Linux (also using a release candidate of OOo like Ubunutu is currently doing) and also not under WindowsXP/Vista (OOo 2.3): If something else than Ubuntu is used, the OpenCards menu bar always appears. The problem was reported by several users.
Note: This bug is not related to OpenCards itself, but only to the extension infrastructure (i.e. the processing of its Addons.xcu in the Ubuntu-OOo-build)
The strange workaround for the problem is to install another impress extension which also has a menu bar like the "mOOo Impress Controller". Than both (!) menus are visible. This means that extensions interact although there is no reason to do so.
A discussion thread for the problem can be found at https:/
All this also holds for the toolbar of OpenCards. It is just not visible using Ubuntu and without having another extension installed.
OOo rejected the bug, by saying its an Ubuntu problem. (c.f. http://
