OpenOffice 2.3 does not start at all

Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

1) Install OpenOffice 2.3 src680m224 with Adept (from the usual Gutsy repository)
2) Launch a OOO application, for example OOWriter
3) OOO does not start at all. You just see the splash window

I even tried to install OOO 2.1 from Klik (http://klik.atekon.de/). Even this self-contained package does not wark at times. It looks like OOO requires a library that is missing on a regular Gutsy installation.
