Openoffice crashes on copying a checkbox

In OO Writer I needed to put checkboxes in there. Upon playing around with them a bit (moving, resizing, naming, grouping)
OO crashed on me.

By now I know a way to make it crash 100% of the time:
Create a new checkbox and mark it, then hit CTRL+C to copy it.
Works every single time for me.

OO crashes, then restarts itself and offers to recover the file I was working on.
What is wierd is: After recovering the checkboxes are all gone.
Even if I saved the file before the crash with one or more checkboxes in it.

I get a lot of crashes when working with those checkboxes, but the rest seems to happen a lot more randomly.
Though, grouping several checkboxes results in a lot of crashes as well.

Still existing after the update this very morning.
Version now:
openoffice.org 2.2.0-1ubuntu4

PS: This is my first bug report, so if you people need some specific info that I haven't provided yet, please let me know.

as the package in question.

How can I change my bug accordingly if possible?

Choose openoffice.org-common for package.

It took me forever to find where I can do that...
And turns out: launchpad says, there is no package with that name...

I'm sorry, I answered a bit quickly and I didn't check before my answer. I think you can choose openoffice.org because openoffice.org-common is a binary package produce by openoffice.org, the source package.

I did what you said but oowriter didn't crash.
Maybe someone else can test because I'm not familiar with oowriter.

After testing by several people in ubuntuusers.de I found I seem to be the only person with that problem.
I tested on my second machine which shows the very same crash, even though it uses a different java version.

Starting OOwriter from the konsole, I found that I get this error repeatedly:

(process:6065): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_screen_get_font_options: assertion `GDK_IS_SCREEN (screen)' failed

(process:6065): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: gtype.c:2242: initialization assertion failed, use IA__g_type_init() prior to this function
