openoffice 2.2 crushed after closing pps application in Ubuntu 7.04

I have openoffice 2.2 on ubuntu 7.04. It is the same problem riported in this bug report:

but there is something more.. When I close the pps application, openoffice crashes. It give me the same error, everytime:
openoffice crashes because of an unexpected error.
then, as in bug 116612, openoffice open an empty world application.

my sistem is ubuntu 7.04 processor Pentium III 160 MB Ram.

it's only a week that do this sort of things..can you help me. I use openoffice 2.2 included in the ubuntu 7.04 OS.
maybe using the official version it can fix the problem?

The same occur with me, and I used Ubuntu 7.04 and BrOffice 2.2.

have you try to install the broffice 2.2 from the site? Now i'm using xubuntu and seems to work correctly
