Bug Description

Binary package hint: slapd

I'm running Ubuntu 9.10 x86_64 with package slapd version 2.4.18-0ubuntu1.

Upon first installation of slapd, the user is not prompted to enter the admin password as described for Ubuntu 9.04 (see: https://help.ubuntu.com/9.04/serverguide/C/openldap-server.html)
This is either a bug or the procedure of setting the password has changed.
Neither "apt-get install slapd" nor "dkpg-reconfigure slapd" is prompting the user to enter the admin password.

What are you getting as an output of the command when you are adding the schema?
