Bug Description

After replacing Sun-JRE-6-26 by OpenJDK-6, I started to experiment a window freezing while I'm inputting information in a Java app.

The issue is that the entire window freezes and I can't do anything more into it. All the window's objects still perfect but completely locked, even if I resize the window the rendered components don't rearrange as they usually do.

The JVM doesn't seem to be locked since I'm able to connect to this JVM using visualvm and I can see some change in CPU and Memory.

The only way to close this JVM session is killing the referenced java process.

I think that this issue has something related to audio reproduction. Every time a registry has its input finished a sound is played and the freezes happens at the moment of an application sound effect should be played (actually in the second time a registry is finished because I manage to insert one registry without any problem).

After disabling the sound effects in the application preferences configuration the freezing seems to be gone.

Changed in openjdk-6 (Ubuntu):
