Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that there was an error caused by a corrupted archive. Please execute the following commands, as it will clear your package cache, in a terminal ( Applications -> Accessories -> Terminal ) :

sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get update

Then try performing the update again. This will likely resolve your issue. If so please set the bug's status to Invalid. Thanks in advance!

Thanks, I execute reinstall but I had this:

dpkg: error: analizando archivo «/var/lib/dpkg/status» cerca de la línea 8122 paquete «policykit-desktop-privileges»:
basura después de palabra en campo «prioridad»
( trash after field word "priority" )
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (2)

I can't update or install anything for this error, maybe I did wrong something in the installation?

It seems your status file (where the system creates track of all installed packages) is corrupted. This may happen after a system crash but you should also check whether your hard disk is ok[1].
The system automatically makes several backup copies of this file, so normally it should be possible to recover from this.

Try the following in a terminal:
This copies the current file into your home directory (if everything works in the end, you can delete this file):
cp /var/lib/dpkg/status ~/
This overwrites the current file with the backup
sudo mv /var/lib/dpkg/status-old /var/lib/dpkg/status
Now try the update again.

If (and only if) it still does not work, there is yet another backup you could use, try:
sudo cp /var/backups/dpkg.status.0 /var/lib/dpkg/status

And then: try the update again.

You are welcome. For the future it would make more sense to raise problems you are having in the support tracker at https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu if you are uncertain if they are bugs. There is also a very vivid ubuntu support community at http://askubuntu.com/ . But please continue to report any other bugs you may find.
