One more note: this is all running under vncserver.
GNOME has been started via "gnome-session"

I reported this bug in the first cut of ubuntu 11.04 beta. It was corrected with a subsequent updates BUT it appears again.

It's a funky little bug - eclipse would crash every now and then when Ctrl-V (Paste) was used, then it would always crash with Ctrl-V, then crash when any key was pressed, then it would crash at the first mouse movement, and finally eclipse would crash on startup.

Attached is the latest hs_err_pid log file.

I just noticed the original bug was for the previous version of Ubuntu. Be that as it may - the bug still exists.
