JRE (nmethod.cpp:1847) crashed while performing "mvn clean package" command

Bug Description

I was performing "mvn clean package" maven command when JRE crashed suddenly.

I have not been able to reproduce this bug, next invocation of maven command has succeeded.

I got the same error starting "eclipse".

It is not really reproducible, but eclipse crashes this way about half the times I try to start it.

Distro: Ubuntu 10.04
Package: openjdk-6-jre 6b18-1.8.1-0ubuntu1, eclipse 3.5.2-2ubuntu4.2

I seem to have the same bug, using a simple c-project with three source files. However I'm using some non-standard eclipse and I wasn't using Maven during the crash.

Distro: 10.04 LTS - Lucid Lynx (haven't upgraded to 10.10 yet)
