Libreoffice shows empty menus when clicking them and then crashes

Bug Description

This bug appeared in libreoffice 4.0.3 from ppa launchpad.net/~libreoffice/+archive/ppa

Repeat the bug:
- Run any libreoffice application
- click on the menu bar

Below is the message displayed when libreoffice is run from the terminal:

I just tried this & removed the libreoffice-gtk package & it appears to work. Hope this gets fixed soon.

I also had the same problem and removing libreoffice-gtk solves it, but know LO user interface looks bad - tiny font, ugly icons. Any idea how to improve on that?

It seems to have been fixed in the latest build from the same PPA https://launchpad.net/~libreoffice/+archive/ppa
1:4.0.3-0ubuntu1~quantal2.

I have just reinstalled libreoffice 4.0.3.3 from its official ppa (https://launchpad.net/~libreoffice/+archive/libreoffice-4-0) and the problem seems to be fixed. Well, at least the menus are working and libreoffice does not crash anymore. HUD integration does not work though.
