Bug Description
I've been running minecraft 1.4.2 fine since it came out, but just today Java has started crashing every time I play it.
The menu screen seems fine, but once I log onto an actual server and start playing I get between 2 and 30 seconds of gameplay before everything crashes out to the desktop.
I tried running it from console and got this output when Java crashed:

Aborted (core dumped)
I can't find a way to report the bug as fixed, so I'll just mention it here.
There were a couple medibuntu libraries that had been getting omitted from recent updates through update-manager, due to gpg signature issues with the medibuntu repo.
After manually updating via command-line the crashy behaviour stopped right away, and it hasn't crashed since.
