Bug Description
Please sync opendkim 2.10.1-1 (universe) from Debian experimental (main)
Explanation of FeatureFreeze exception:
The major feature of this release is dropping support for ADSP, which is fine,
since approximately no one uses it (and if they are, they are wrong). It also
has some better support for DNSSEC, so that's good. Dropping ADSP caused
symbols to disappear from libdkim9, so soname bump to libdkim10 will need
binary new.
There are bug fixes that would be good to get in.
There are a small number of reverse build-deps. I'll take care of the
transition:
Reverse-
=======
* cyrus-imapd-2.4
* milter-greylist
* rmilter
The only reason this was uploaded to experimental is the Debian pre-release
freeze.
Changelog entries since current vivid version 2.9.2-2:
opendkim (2.10.1-1) experimental; urgency=medium
* New upstream release
- Bump libopendkim to libopendkim10 due to upstream soname change: Update
debian/
libopendk
- Update libopendkim symbols file to remove symbols for dropped ADSP
functionality (Obsolete)
- Drop all patches, previously cherrypicked from upstream
- ADSP support removed. Remove references to opendkim-testadsp from
debian/
* Bump standards version to 3.9.6 without further change
