I cannot send in HTML or text, unless its a one word email in which case it will send as plain text.

(I believe I read about a similar bug a while ago due to mail being over a certain size relating to this but I cannot find it)

I can also confirm the same error, just after a 12.10 upgrade.

I also found that mails below some limit (like 800-1000 plain ASCII chars) send OK, but longer ones fail, even if the mail is still plain ASCII.

Rebuilding Evo ('stable' 3.6.1 from the Gnome download site), did not help either, so I have created the following bugreport for Evolution:

This bug seems fixed in https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=682449

How much work is it to include the fix in the 12.10 packages?

Don't know why the ubuntu guys don't fix it in their repository.
