gnome-terminal can't name window

I use alltray to execute gnome-terminal with no menu that has irssi running inside of it.

This is the command I use to launch irssi.
alltray -s -na -i ~/.icons/irssi-invert.png "gnome-terminal --hide-menubar -t irssi -e irssi"

-t irssi should make the title be irssi.

When gnome-terminal launches, it it given the title "Unnamed Window" I don't know if it changes anything, but I'm running OpenBox.

How can I give this Window a name?

thanks for the report, which version of ubuntu are you using? does the same happens with xterm or terminator?

Same thing happens with this -> alltray -s -na -i ~/.icons/irssi-invert.png "xterm -title irssi"

"xterm -title irssi" and "gnome-terminal -t irssi" don't take a title, they just use the default.

I guess this is an issue with OpenBox then.

This isn't an issue with gnome-terminal. It appears to be an issue in openbox itself.
FYI - I don't run anything on top of openbox.

Yes, it seems this is an issue on openbox itself, removing desktp team as bug assignee.

This package is synced with Debian so the bug should be forwarded upstream.
