Can't open OpenArena on Xubuntu 20.04

Bug Description

OpenArena always crashes on startup on Xubuntu 20.04. This is the log i get:

Ah, reported my own occurrence of this as a separate bug because I thought this one was specific to Xubuntu -_-

Can confirm, this is happening out-of-the-box with openarena package on plain vanilla Ubuntu 20.04 as well.

Seems to be related to linking the native build of ui.qvm (uix86_64.so) with an older library which used to export the __atan2_finite symbol but no longer does.

Will attempt to build from official Git repo and post results.

OK, confirmed, building from the official Git repository (<email address hidden>:OpenArena/gamecode) works fine - steps to reproduce:

1. git clone <email address hidden>:OpenArena/gamecode
2. cd gamecode; make
3. sudo cp build/release-linux-x86_64/oax/*.so /usr/lib/openarena/baseoa/pak6-patch088

OpenArena works fine now. Please inform the package maintainer that the package on the official Ubuntu repositories needs to be recompiled ;)

The rebuilt package does fix _this_ bug and shows the menu but is not functional because it crashes when starting single player game or demo with LP: #1907424. There is no point in SRU-ing this fix without fixing the other bug, too.

This also happened to me on Linux Mint 20.1 Ulyssa (which is based on 20.04 Focal), and weirdly enough it appears to be fixed in Groovy (20.10).

Turns out the only fix until the next LTS comes out or somebody recompiles the package in the repos is to build from the official Git repository.
