2008-10-17 12:42:50 StefanPotyra openal-soft: statusexplanation Hi, no, libopenal0a (as in the creative variant) is obsolete, and won't come back. The right thing is to recompile 3rd party applications against the openal-soft. In case for binary only stuff, it would imho be better to dlopen system libraries instead of linking against it anyways (or link statically against these). But this is s.th. we can't solve in Ubuntu. -> marking as won't fix. Cheers, Stefan.
