Updated 12.04 after - 8 days several hundred MB
rebooted
tried to start System manager package
got error on screen "System manager closed unexpectedly"
tried again got "oneconf-service closed unexpectedly"
Everything else looks OK I think!

After reading launchpad problem mentioning python2.7, I will add
I have both Idle python2.7 and Idle python3.2 on my dashboard if that is significant.
