Bug Description

In TexLive 2012 the new pdflatex or synctex version wrote now the full path in the *.synctex.gz file.

e.g.:
SyncTeX Version:1
Input:1:/home/user/Dokumente/./test.tex
...

With TexLive 2009 the *.synctex.gz file look like this:
SyncTeX Version:1
Input:1: test.tex
...

If the full path in the *.synctex.gz file contains an umlaut, okular couldn't find the source tex file any longer.

e.g.:
SyncTeX Version:1
Input:1:/home/user/Dokumente/Geschäft/TeXbriefe/ohnealles/./test.tex

reproducible all times!

Kubuntu 4.8.5 with TexLive 2012

Same problem in Kubuntu 12.10 with TexLive 2012 and KDE 4.9.*

I found out that I had the text selection tool (Ctrl+4) enabled when the “bug” occurred. With the hand tool (Ctrl+1) it works.

So "Inverse search via SHIFT + LEFT CLICK" only work, if the hand tool (Ctrl+1) is active!
