offlineimap in lucid leaves terminal in bad state

Binary package hint: offlineimap

When I run 'offlineimap -c ~/Private/.offlineimaprc', it leaves my terminal in a bad state where it does not echo characters. Typing '/usr/bin/reset<return>' usually restores the terminal (though once I seemed to have to just close it).
