Bug Description

Binary package hint: offlineimap

Offlineimap has recently become extremely slow and increasingly buggy, so that it regularly needs to be killed and restarted. I'm not sure how to go about debugging this.
I use oflfineimap with gmail's imap server (and alpine on my end).

At the moment many folders report the error:

WARNING: ERROR in syncfolder for [imapfoldername] folder [imapfolder] : Error from select: ('NO', ['System error (Failure)'])

where inmapfoldername and imapfolder are substituted for my names, during an update.

I get various other errors when offlineimap dies (terminates with an error rather than hanging) without completing its update. I would like offlineimap to work without hanging and without errors that cause consternation about corruption of my mail.

Having similar issues. Was working fine for a long time and recently started, hanging(cpu 100%), crashing and throwing the error in this bug.
