Bug Description

When installing the latest update I ran into this error. I did not look into more yet but figured I would report it and look into it more to see if there is an already existing solution

You have a self-compiled copy of Octave in /usr/local that is interfering with the normal package upgrade procedure. Please remove that and try continuing the update.
