2014-10-20 13:38:50 Martin Pitt description This package is needed as a dependency of nvidia-graphics-drivers-331 and of nvidia-graphics-drivers-331-updates (main), so that the open source OpenCL loader is used over the proprietary one. This helps avoiding symbols mismatches when building OpenCL applications that are also supposed to work with open graphics drivers. This will also be used for fglrx in the future and, when mesa is ready, also for open source drivers.
