Bug Description

Binary package hint: nvidia-settings

Xinerama with Nvidia-settings don't work since Natty.
Before, with Maverick it works perfectly. I've got two screens and I could drag and drop some windows from the left to the screen of right.
The bug is that when I have activated Xinerama, the default screen was displayed on the right screen (the second screen) and the interaction of the mouse should be done on the left screen for do something.
My English is very bad, sorry.

Same Problem here. With nouveau I'm able to use xinemara. Fixing /etc/X11/Xorg.conf by myself doesn't work.

The same happened to me. I solved it by installing driver version 275.19 from ppa:ubuntu-x-swat/x-updates and running

gconftool --type string --set /desktop/gnome/session/required_components/windowmanager metacity

for every user. I don't know if the ppa driver is necessary, you may try the gconftool command alone first. I also don't know why the gconftool command fixes the problem. I observed the problem didn't occur with settings from an old account and a lot of trial and error showed that this gconf setting makes the difference.
