nvidia-setting Segmentation fault

Binary package hint: nvidia-settings

When ever I try to save the X Configuration I get a Segmentation fault. Not sure what log you need to see.

I also have seen the segmentation fault when clicking 'Save to X Configuration File'. I have found that if I remove any backup xorg.conf files (rename them something other than xorg.conf) the Seg-fault goes away.

Have the same specs as you but the weird thing is I have no backup xorgs.

Same issue as Vitaly.
This is a new install from the Kubuntu Intrepid RC CD.
Installed patches, then enabled nvidia driver version 177

Running nvidia-settings allows me to enable Twinview, but I get a segfault when I click "Save to X Configuration File"

I've tried it both as root and not as root.

no backup xorg.conf files at all.
