Skype, axel , wallch and ktorrent crashes my session

When I try to use those programs on my screen appears multiples horizontal white lines themselves filled with vertical lines of different colors for one second then everything turns black and then my session restart with the login window

My card is a Geforce 7600 gs Nvidia and the drivers that I've install
is the current-updated (285.05.09)

So you say that this version of drivers is the problem?

I'm using a GTX 560 and have 295.40-0ubuntu1 installed. Wallch and another program (of which I cannot remember) has crashed my session.

It's useless having a bug report about this if it is indeed nvidia's driver (which I'm likely to believe).

Both wallch and x11vnc crash as soon as I launch it. Nothing of note in x.org logs

That version is no more supported; please open a new bug report if the actual archive found version also has the same issue.
