Bug Description
I have a PC with an old Nvidia GeForce FX 5200 that was running 9.10 just fine. But the 10.04 live CD don't recognize the video card since boot (the monitor says it isn't connected to the computer).

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Please run the command 'apport-collect 571508' which will attach necessary information for debugging this as an Xorg problem.
You can boot the system with the "text" boot-options, also try the "nomodeset" option. See https:/ /wiki.ubuntu. com/X/NonGraphi calBoot for more information on booting in non-graphics mode.
Thanks in advance.
