Bug Description
After I activate a proprietary NVidia driver (the card is GeForce 9800GT) I observe that some window resizing effects cease working. In particular toggling vertical and horizontal maximisation does not work. I can only one time maximise the window and can not switch it back to its original size (using my defined keyboard shortucts, i.e. Ctrl-Shift-h and Ctrl-Shift-v). After removing the proprietary driver the things start to work. The ubuntu version is 9.04 (Jaunty) 64-bit.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
Is this bug reproducible with the latest Lucid packages ?
Tanks in advance.
