Tried to install the new experimental Nvidia driver on my Ubuntu 12.04 installation with a new kernel 3.8.0-27-generic through "additional drivers"-tool, but it failed.
Then tried with terminal, driver was already installed.
I removed the nouveau driver and activated "nvidia" in xorg.conf and then rebooted. -> Unity 2D mode
A reinstall of the driver in terminal caused this error message and explains that the nvidia module might have some troubles with my recently installed new linux kernel. Don't know how to solve this issue...

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.
