Bug Description

Binary package hint: mozilla-openoffice.org

Using Ubuntu release 3.10 with Openoffice 3.0 upgrade

When using the word-processor the file menu in Openoffice does not display. When visual effects are set to none the file menu is now seen. This was also the case for Openoffice release 2.4 . When visual effect are set back to normal, once again the file menu disperses.

Yes I'm using the Nvidia video driver
