It was strange. I tried `apt install -f` for the second time. And it worked this time.

It didn't work after all. After reboot, the desktop environment won't start up. I had to boot into recover mode and uninstall nvidia-driver-525-open. I supposed I am on nouveau now.

I solved my problem by reverting to nouveau and autoremoving everything. Then run `ubuntu-drivers install nvidia-driver,525`. For the first time this command was run, it will exit abnormally with error. Run it again and the command will exit normally. Finally reboot. The tested nvidia 525 driver with open kernel never worked for me. The version worked for me is the one without `-open` suffix.
