Bug Description

Since a fresh install of Xubuntu 22.04 sometimes X launches to a white screen, other times I get a black screen. Restarting X seems to help sometimes. I turned display power management off and the problem persists. The system is responsive and usually I can still get to the text console.

See XorgLogOld.txt, this seems to be related to my KVM and the Nvidia driver thinks it can't find any valid display modes. This was not seen on Xubuntu 20.04 and the KVM seems to be working okay with other systems.

affects: xorg (Ubuntu) → nvidia-graphics-drivers-470 (Ubuntu)
