Bug Description

An attempt to do a clean install of NVIDIA drivers resulted in errors. I was doing so as a program I was intending to use detected that the pre-installed drivers did not let me use CUDA.

Running a somewhat newly installed Ubuntu 20.04

I expected it to load the drivers as normal but it just gave me errors,
