I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. I experienced this as well.

Had to revert to previous kernel (5.4.0-59) to get nvidia-grpahics-drivers-390 installed on my system.

The nouveau drivers were not a viable option, computer kept freezing, forcing hard resets.

Forgot to mention, the kernel that had a the problem with nvidia driver was a 5.8 kernel
