Bug Description

Hi,

I did a clean installation of Ubuntu 16.04. Once complete and updates applied, I then specified the Nvidia proprietary drivers (currently version 361). I was able to install, then reboot, but kept getting stuck at the login screen.

Research indicates that in order to use Nvidia drivers, I have to disable Secure Boot. Since I also have Windows 10 installed, UEFI (ie. Secure Boot) is a mandatory requirement and cannot be disabled.

I will not be able to use Ubuntu 16.04 until such time as this issue is fixed.

I am reporting this as a security issue, since Secure Boot is a requirement for my system.

Thanks!

I have a similar problem - I am not able to install NVidia drivers (drivers not work correctly after install) and I have to use open drivers instead of. The open driver makes problems in some games.

Please, fix this issue.
