10de:0dfc NVRM Graphics Exception on resume from hibernate

When I try to resume from hibernating, my DELL Latitude E6430 (nvidia prime disabled in bios and NVIDIA 346.59 driver is correctly being used) in Kubuntu 15.04 I often get the text console instead of X and the following error message being displayed, requiring a restart:

I just installed nouveau and after some hick-ups with plasma (mostly related to dual-monitor) it's working fine now. I was able to successfully suspend+resume twice in a row. As I said before the problem is not deterministic so I will keep an eye on whether it fails with nouveau as well but I think we can work with the assumption that switching worked around the problem.

Thomas, to see if this is already fixed in the latest release from nvidia, could you please test 349.12 via http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/83513/en-us and advise to the results?

So it seems that the newest nvidia driver did not actually fix the problem (but maybe made it occur less frequently?)

I noticed a peculiar thing: after installing the binary beta driver, resume from hibernate works for a while. Then at one point it stops working stays non-working until I re-install the binary driver.
