Bug Description
Release : Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS
Graphics cards:
$ lspci | grep VGA
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Core Processor Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 18)
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GT218M [GeForce 310M] (rev a2)
I am trying to se a second screen with an HDMI connector on my laptop. With "nouveau", the second screen remains blank so I tried to use the NVIDIA controller but its installation failed.
N.B.: My laptop is more than 10 years old and does not support Wayland. I use X11.
