Bug Description
Report of bug.
I was made aware of an issue by not being able to log in, the screen would make odd images black and white shaped S's then it logged me out. (3rd Oct and 4th Oct 2015) Had to go into recovery mode and work through the terminal as root. Found that "the system is running in low-graphics mode" had appeared as a warning. Uninstalled nvidia-331 and then reinstalled through the terminal.
This issue had stopped me logging into my account. Thankfully ask ubuntu had the questions and answers relating to similar issues and I was able to pick up what to do.
Regards,
James

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.
