With the proprietary nvidia-331 (331.113-
09:00.0 3D controller [0302]: NVIDIA Corporation GK208M [GeForce GT 740M] [10de:1292] (rev a1)
Steps:
1. Install 14.04.1 + updated + nvidia driver
2. Connect an external monitor to it.
Expected result:
* External monitor should work in every mode.
Actual result:
* It's mis-aligned in extended mode
This issue does not exist with the open-source driver, or with the proprietary driver but in power-saving mode (running on Intel GPU).
