For me I'm on 14.10 and it only happens when I try to compile and install
my own kernel...  I know the same problem exist on 14.04 because I had the
same problem before I updated to 14.10.  This bug is not developer friendly
at all as many developers need to compile their own kernels for various
reasons...  What am I to do?  It seems no progress or even attempt of a fix
is in the near future.  I guess I'll have to install Debian or a Debian
based distro like crunchbang Linux...
