Today nvidia-experimental-310 version 310.14 updated to nvidia-310-updates version 310.44. Afterwards all fullscreen video is tearing. This includes video games, streaming video and dvd playback. On the previous driver version there had been no tearing whatsoever.

Since initially filing this bug the kernel has updated to 3.8.0-19.29. The tearing in full screen video still persists. The only solution I have found is to disable "Unredirect Fullscreen Windows" with compizconfig-settings-manager.
