Since this problem greatly affects usability (no graphic login anymore), may be it's worth (in the users' point of view) creating a “fake version” security-upgrade like "304.132-0ubuntu0.16.04.2+really304.131" to fill the gap while waiting for Nvidia to provide a fix for 304.132, IMHO.
