Bug Description

Ubuntu 10.04 RC Live CD (or USB) shows the first menu, but when I launch the setup or the Live version the screen turns black after a while, even if the system is responsive. I had this problem with beta version, so I installed from 9.10 and then upgraded to 10.04. The logs are from that installation.

I was told to attach lspci -vvnn log so here it is

If I connect an external monitor to the VGA output the image is correctly shown in that monitor. I could install ubuntu on the hard drive, but the laptop screen isn't recognized at all
