AS well it is now booting 3.13.0-32 instead of the latest kernel?? You guys have screwed this up big time.

I could try a few things on my own, but am giving you this opportunity to fix this problem first. Please advise soonest

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Freenode.

To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1353172/+editstatus and add the package name in the text box next to the word Package.

This is not package related. This is a kernel issue and the hardware support or lack thereof... for the new 3.13.0-32-generic kernel supposedly for 12.04.4 LTS. It does not support NVidea drivers apparently. I have seen other various complaints about the problem.
There is no sense in reporting it as an X package problem, just to have a package to tie to it. It is a kernel hardware driver problem. The HWE update does not handle NVidea properly. Please look at this promptly and supply an updated kernel fix. This is critical!
