After a reboot the new kernel was successfully(!) installed, no problems while booting or at entering the GUI mentioned, but the crash report came up.

BTW: I don't have an nvidida graphics card in my PC. Attached is the readout from lshw

After deinstalling the old kernel -22 the problem comes back again and again - so I made a lot of photos about the config process from 'Synaptic'.
