Hi Alhneiti,

Examining your DpkgTerminalLog I notice the following errors. It seems this is is really an issue with nvidia-common. I'll reassign accordingly.

run-parts: executing /etc/kernel/postinst.d/nvidia-common
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/nvidia-detector", line 2, in <module>
    import NvidiaDetector
ImportError: No module named NvidiaDetector
run-parts: /etc/kernel/postinst.d/nvidia-common exited with return code 1
Failed to process /etc/kernel/postinst.d at /var/lib/dpkg/info/linux-image-2.6.27-14-generic.postinst line 1002.

I'm having the same error on Karmic, while trying to activate the b43 module. I attach the /var/log/jockey.log .
