Seems the issue really lies with nvidia-common and likely a duplicate of your other bug 331675. As I mentioned in your other bug 331675, bug 303825 seem similar as well and was resolved by either reinstalling nvidia-common or removing the package completely. Care to comment if either resolve the issue reported here? Thanks.
